HM To Preside Over 'Student Festival' On January 11

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will lead the student festival titled "Oman's Renewed Renaissance," which is set to take place at Al Fateh Square in Wattayah on Saturday, January 11.

The event is being organized by the Secretariat General of National Celebrations (SGNC).

The SGNC has announced that the festival will host 8,000 participants from various governorates of Oman, commemorating the five-year anniversary of His Majesty Sultan Haitham's reign and the ongoing Renaissance in Oman.

The festival will showcase five artistic panels: The first, "Welcoming," captures the joy and pride of the Omani people on this momentous occasion, reflecting their appreciation for His Majesty's leadership. The second panel, "Knowledge," emphasizes the importance of education as a foundation for sustainable development.

The third panel, "A Promise Fulfilled," illustrates the accomplishments achieved over the past five years of the renewed Omani Renaissance, highlighting advancements in multiple sectors and their contributions to national progress.

The fourth panel, "Oman, the Land of Peace," celebrates Oman's rich cultural heritage, its dedication to Shura, and its commitment to peace. The final panel, "Oman Across Time," unites a diverse array of citizens from throughout the nation, honoring Omani heritage and the arts.

The festival will culminate in a sincere homage to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, reflecting loyalty, appreciation, and admiration for his astute leadership and commitment to Oman's continuous renaissance and sustainable progress.
