Muscat: On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik welcomed the Minister of State for Energy Affairs from Qatar at Al Barakah Palace.
According to a statement from the Oman News Agency (ONA), "His Majesty the Sultan received His Excellency the Minister of State for Energy Affairs of the State of Qatar at Al Barakah Palace."
The statement further noted, "During their discussion, they explored opportunities for collaboration and partnership in the energy sectors between the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Qatar, aiming to advance mutual interests and benefit the citizens of both nations."
