His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al Sabah, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Kuwait, at Al Barakah Palace today.
During their meeting, Sheikh Fahad conveyed a verbal message from Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait. This message focused on ways to strengthen the exceptional relations between Oman and Kuwait to benefit their mutual interests.
The discussion also encompassed military and security cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and Kuwait, exploring avenues to enhance these collaborations to ensure stability and security for both nations and the broader region.
The audience was attended by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Dr. Mohammed bin Nassir Al Hajri, Ambassador of Kuwait to Oman, and Major General Hamed Manahi Al-Mutairi, Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior.
