Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a message of sympathy to Iraqi President Dr. Abdul Latif Rashid regarding the blaze that broke out in a hypermarket in Al Kut city, Wasit Governorate, eastern Iraq.
In the cable, His Majesty the Sultan extended His sincere sympathies to President Dr. Abdul Latif, the victims' families, and the Iraqi people in response to this tragic event, praying to Allah the Almighty for a swift recovery for the injured and to spare their country from further unfortunate disasters.
