Moscow: The evening saw His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik depart from Moscow following a state visit lasting two days to the Russian Federation.
At Vnukovo International Airport, His Majesty was bid farewell by Maxim Reshetnikov, the Minister of Economic Development, along with various officials from Russia and representatives from the Omani embassy situated in Moscow.
As he was leaving, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik transmitted a message of gratitude to President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation.
In his message, His Majesty conveyed his heartfelt thanks for the gracious reception and the hospitality that was extended to him.
His Majesty praised the results of his discussions with the Russian President, identifying it as a significant opportunity to strengthen cooperative efforts, elevate the existing relations, and open fresh avenues for partnership and investment to benefit mutual interests.
His Majesty the Sultan conveyed his wishes for President Putin to attain further aspirations leading to advancement and prosperity for the people of Russia.
During this trip, His Majesty the Sultan was joined by a distinguished delegation that included HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, who serves as the Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, the Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court, General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, the Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, head of the Private Office, Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Jamal bin Hassan Al Mosawi, Secretary General of the National Museum, and Hamoud bin Salim Al Tuwaih, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Russian Federation.
