Kuwait: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and Sheikh Mishaal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, held an official meeting at Bayan Palace in Kuwait City on Monday.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Emir of Kuwait warmly welcomed His Majesty the Sultan, recognizing him as an esteemed guest of the State of Kuwait, and wished him and his delegation a pleasant stay.
In response, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Emir for the warm welcome and generous hospitality.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the strong and brotherly relations between their countries and peoples, which are continuously supported and prioritized by their wise leaderships.
They also explored ways to enhance cooperation and partnership in various fields for the benefit of the Omani and Kuwaiti peoples.
Furthermore, they exchanged views on several regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The Omani delegation attending the official meeting included HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nuamani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, and Dr. Saleh bin Amir Al Kharousi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Kuwait.
In the meantime, the Kuwaiti delegation consisted of Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al Hammad Al Sabah (Head of the Honorary Mission), Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, the Prime Minister responsible for government formation, Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah, the Prime Minister responsible for addressing urgent matters, and Dr. Mohammed bin Nassir Al Hajri, the Ambassador of Kuwait to Oman.
