Moscow: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik arrived in Moscow this evening for a two-day state visit to the Russian Federation.
An official welcome ceremony took place at Vnukovo International Airport, showcasing a warm reception for His Majesty the Sultan.
Upon disembarking, His Majesty was greeted by Maxim Reshetnikov, the Minister of Economic Development, along with various officials from the Russian Federation and members of the Omani Embassy in Moscow.
Following this, His Majesty inspected the Guard of Honour before proceeding to the honor platform, where the Royal Anthem of Oman and the National Anthem of the Russian Federation were performed.
Tomorrow, on Tuesday, His Majesty the Sultan will receive an official reception at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow, where he is scheduled to meet with President Vladimir Putin for official discussions.
