Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has honored a number of His Highnesses and Excellencies with medals during the country's 54th National Day celebrations, in recognition of their significant contributions to national service.
His Majesty the Sultan has bestowed the First Oman Order upon His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth; and His Highness Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham al Said.
Furthermore, His Majesty the Sultan has awarded the Second Class Oman Civil Order to His Highness Sayyid Taimur bin Asaad al Said, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman (CBO); His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki al Said, Governor of Dhofar; Dr. Hamad bin Said al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Dr. Khamis bin Saif al Jabri, Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, Nasser bin Khamis al Jashmi, Head of the Tax Authority; Sayyid Ibrahim bin Said al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam; Dr. Khalfan bin Said al Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning; Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation; Eng.
