Hh Sayyid Theyazin Launches Military Discipline Programme

Musqat: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth, initiated the commencement of the military discipline program in Dhofar Governorate from June 30 to July 24, as part of the government's commitment to the well-being of Omani youth.

In a statement, His Highness emphasized the government's dedication, led by His Majesty the Sultan, in nurturing Omani youth and upholding the traditional values deeply rooted in Omani society. The military discipline program underscores the importance placed on Omani youth, who form a significant part of the nation.

The program encompasses various activities designed to reinforce national values and cultural, social, and athletic norms, promoting self-discipline and commitment to enhance the character of Omani youth. His Highness highlighted that the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, several military and security entities, and other government bodies, prioritizes citizenship, identity, heritage, and national culture within the program's objectives. These align with Oman Vision 2040 and initiatives that foster investment in youth development.

The military discipline program aims to benefit 700 young men from different regions of Oman, with Dhofar Governorate as the focal point. His Highness expressed confidence that these young men will serve as role models by embodying acquired values and contributing to future generations' growth.

Furthermore, the program aids in strengthening national identity, fostering a sense of belonging, and providing opportunities for Omani youth to engage in constructive development activities. It aims to propel progress and prosperity, adding to Oman's achievements under the leadership of His Majesty the Sultan, ensuring a bright future for the nation.
