Muscat: On Wednesday, HH Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, the Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, graciously received the heads of delegations participating in the ICESCO Conference, which is being hosted by the Sultanate of Oman.
The delegates from various countries conveyed their heartfelt sentiments and best wishes for the success of the leadership in Oman. They also extended their hopes for the continued progress and prosperity of the Omani populace.
HH Sayyid Fahd highlighted the Sultanate of Oman's unwavering support for the efforts undertaken by ICESCO in fulfilling its responsibilities. He also commended the organization for its significant contributions in the fields of research, educational curricula development, knowledge dissemination, and the harnessing of technological advancements.
Additionally, the discussion covered the agenda of the ICESCO Conference, which is aimed at enhancing cooperation among member states of ICESCO.
In response, the delegates expressed their gratitude to Oman for the meticulous preparation of the conference.
The meeting was graced by the presence of Dr. Madiha Ahmed Al Shaibani, Minister of Education, Dr. Salim Mohammed Al Malik, Director General of the ICESCO, and Amna Salim Al Balushi, Oman’s Permanent Representative to the UNESCO.
