Muscat: HH Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, welcomed Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of India, to his office today.
The discussion focused on ways to strengthen the strategic and economic partnership between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India, as well as exploring collaborative opportunities in various areas of mutual interest.
Attending the meeting were Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; Sheikh Khalifa Hamad Al Badi, Secretary General at the Office of HH Sayyid Asa’ad; Saif Ahmed Al Sawafi, Advisor at the Office of HH Sayyid Asa’ad; Issa Saleh Al Shibani, Ambassador of Oman to India; and Pankaj Khimji, Advisor for Foreign Trade and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion. From the Indian delegation, Harsha Vardhan Agarwal, President of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and Amit Narang, Ambassador of India to Oman, were also present.
