HH Sayyid Asa’ad Heads To Belgium

Muscat: The delegation, under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, His Highness Sayyid Asa’ad Bin Tarik Al Said, who serves as the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, has departed for Belgium to represent the Sultanate of Oman at the inaugural joint summit between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union.

The delegation, led by His Highness Sayyid Asa’ad Bin Tarik Al Said, is set to participate in the first joint summit between the GCC and the European Union, which is scheduled to take place in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, on Wednesday, the following week.

Upon their departure, His Highness and his delegation were greeted by His Excellency Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, the Governor of Muscat, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saidi, the Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Saud bin Hamoud Al Habsi, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, and His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Said Al Maamari, the Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs.
