Brussels: In the presence of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik, the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, serving as the Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, arrived at the Kingdom of Belgium to lead the delegation of the Sultanate of Oman at the inaugural GCC-EU joint summit.
Upon the arrival of HH Sayyid Asa’ad and his entourage at Brussels Airport, they were warmly welcomed by Josep Borrell, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and the Vice-President of the European Commission, Jasem Mohammed Al Budaiwi, the Secretary General of the GCC, and Ru’aa Issa Al Zadjali, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Head of Oman’s Mission to the EU. Additionally, members of the Omani embassy in Belgium extended their greetings.
HH Sayyid Asa’ad is accompanied by an official delegation that includes several ministers and undersecretaries.
