Google Gemini Now Supports Video Uploads For Analysis

Washington: Google has released an exciting update to its Gemini app, which allows users to submit videos for analysis.

This function allows users to pose queries about video content or have Gemini explain clips, according to The Verge.

Although the upgrade has not yet been completely deployed, consumers of iOS and Android smartphones may already have access to this capability.
Key features of video uploading and analysis include:

Video Analysis: Gemini can evaluate uploaded video files and offer insights or answers to user questions.

Question Answering: Users may ask inquiries regarding particular video content, such as recognizing items, activities, or words in the video.

Video Player Interface: The uploaded video displays above the chat interface, allowing users to view the clip again if required.
The feature's availability and constraints are as follows:

Platform Support: The video upload function is now supported on both iOS and Android smartphones, with varying availability across accounts and devices.
Web Support: This function is not yet available in the web version of Gemini, and users receive a File type unsupported message.

Camera Limitation: The integrated Gemini camera still cannot capture video.

As Google updates and improves its Gemini models, consumers may anticipate additional improvements to the video analysis function.
