Muscat: Four individuals have been apprehended by the Environment Authority (EA) for hunting several wild animals in the Dhofar Governorate.
According to a report released by the EA online, it was noted, "In collaboration with the Royal Oman Police, the Environment Authority in Dhofar Governorate arrested four citizens for unlawfully hunting various wild animals. Appropriate actions have been taken, and the suspects have been handed over to the relevant authorities for further legal action. "
The statement further emphasized, "The Authority calls on all individuals to protect the environment and its natural resources and to comply with environmental laws and regulations to prevent facing legal consequences. ".
