Cairo: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, had a closed-door talk with Dr. Badr Abdelatty, the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the sidelines of the 16th Omani-Egyptian Joint Committee meeting in Cairo.
During the talks, both parties reiterated the excellent cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Arab Republic of Egypt, stressing their mutual support for strategically advancing the partnership in a variety of areas. This dedication seeks to expand the two brotherly nations' common interests, resulting in greater mutual benefits.
The two officials also addressed a variety of regional concerns and recent events that pertain to both countries' political and security priorities. They emphasized the need of coordinating, aligning, and integrating efforts to promote dialogue and diplomacy in the face of numerous challenges and crises, while containing the causes of conflict and escalation for the benefit and stability of the whole region.
