Muscat: The Mudhaibi Industrial City, which is a part of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn), has recently signed the initial investment agreement with Desert Sand Mobile Trading. This agreement is aimed at establishing a manufacturing facility for liquefied and compressed gases, which are essential for medical and construction purposes.
The investment for this project is estimated to be around OMR2 million and will span an area of 16,000 square meters. Construction is scheduled to begin at the start of the following year, aligning with the commencement of the tender for the development of Al Mudhaibi Industrial City, which was recently announced.
The first phase of this development is projected to cover an area of approximately 2.5 million square meters. It will include critical infrastructure such as road networks, water and sewage systems, lighting, security fencing, and surveillance systems. Furthermore, several pre-fabricated industrial units, each measuring 500 square meters, will be established within the Madayn Entrepreneurial Complex. The development plan also includes the construction of the Facility Building and Masar Service Centre, among other facilities.
