Europcar Oman Presents 'The Internship Fair 2025: Bridging Talent And Industry'

Muscat: Europcar Oman is excited to announce the inaugural Internship Fair 2025, organized in collaboration with the Oman American Business Council (OABC) and taking place at The Diplomatic Club in Muscat on April 21st. This event is also supported by the British Business Forum (BBF) and the Indo Gulf Chamber of Commerce (INMECC), in partnership with academic institutions such as the Arab Open University and the German University of Technology (GUtech).

This significant event aims to bridge the gap between students and recent graduates and prominent companies throughout the nation, fostering genuine career opportunities for Oman’s future workforce. Participating organizations will receive structured assistance to develop effective internship programs and identify promising talent early on.

Over 30 companies from diverse sectors will be present, providing students with a unique chance to engage with potential employers, learn about internship opportunities, and find roles that align with their skills and career aspirations.

“At Europcar, we are committed to recruiting young talent and recognize their long-term importance—not only for our organization but also for Oman,” stated Nitin Sapre, CEO of Europcar Oman & Bahrain. “We aimed to make a meaningful contribution to the country, which is why we initiated this event and invited various business groups to participate. Internships serve as a practical means for companies to give back while uncovering future talent.”

Rebecca Olson, CEO of the Oman American Business Council (OABC), stated, “OABC is proud to support this initiative, which aligns with our mission to connect businesses with future leaders in Oman. We commend Europcar for spearheading the creation of tangible career opportunities for the country’s emerging talent.”

Charm Majolica, Director of The Diplomatic Club, praised the partnership: “We are privileged to host this significant event and to support initiatives that foster connections between education and industry.”

Davis Kallukaran, Managing Partner of Crowe and Founder Director of the Indo Gulf Chamber of Commerce (INMECC), remarked, “This initiative exemplifies the collaboration between academia, industry, and the community to generate a meaningful impact.”

Dr. Kabaly, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies at Arab Open University, representing the academic partners, noted, “We are pleased to see our students engage in a forum that links them directly to the professional realm.”

Fatma Al Madkouri, Head of Student Affairs & Intern Placements at the German University of Technology (GUtech), added, “Such partnerships are crucial in equipping our graduates for the challenges of tomorrow. We are eager to be part of this journey.”
