Emir Of Qatar Visits Royal Opera House Muscat

Muscat: Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, visited the Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) today as part of his official trip to the Sultanate of Oman.

During his visit, Sheikh Tamim explored the ROHM and received an overview of its facilities, performance types, seasonal offerings, and annual programming.

He was informed about the stunning architectural elements of ROHM, which reflect Omani heritage and showcase a fusion of architectural styles from various global cultures.

To commemorate the visit, ROHM hosted a musical performance featuring a dedicated vocal chanting group, the Steel Band, and the band from the Royal Guard of Oman’s 1st Battalion.

At the conclusion of his visit, Sheikh Tamim signed the Visitors Book, sharing his pleasure in visiting the ROHM, which he referred to as a conduit for cultural, civilizational, and artistic exchange among nations.

Accompanying Sheikh Tamim during this visit were Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister and Head of the Mission of Honour, along with members of the ROHM Board of Directors and the Emir's official delegation.
