Eleventh Annual Human Development Conference Kicks Off In Salalah

Salalah: The 11th Annual Human Development Conference began on Sunday at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah.

The conference, themed "Developing human resources through training," will emphasize innovation and applications of artificial intelligence (AI). It is part of national attempts to improve human capabilities and attain the objectives outlined in Oman Vision 2040.

The opening ceremony was conducted under the auspices of HH Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, and attended by top government officials, professionals, and specialists from Oman and overseas.

The conference is intended to empower national cadres and develop manpower by training people to meet future demands and sharing knowledge on how to use innovation and AI to improve professional performance.

The conference will focus on a variety of themes, with a focus on creating training programs based on the most recent international approaches.

The seminar is a two-day event organized by "Alassayel Company for Conferences and Training Services" in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor, the Dhofar Governor's Office, and the branch of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Dhofar Governorate.
