Muscat: The Foreign Ministry of the Sultanate of Oman has announced that the sixth phase of its electronic attestation service will be launched in the Kingdom of Thailand on April 15, 2025.
This initiative is part of Oman's continuous efforts to improve its consular services and aligns with the broader digital transformation goals set forth in the nation's Vision 2040.
The electronic attestation service eliminates the need for citizens to visit embassies for attestation processes, providing enhanced convenience and efficiency. Since its initial rollout on January 23, 2025, the service has been gradually introduced to various countries, including those in the Gulf Cooperation Council, as well as India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Germany, Cyprus, Japan, and Italy. The addition of Thailand marks the next phase in the ministry's strategy to broaden these services internationally.
