The Ministry of Labour officially launched a conference on Sunday focused on the significance of governance in strategic planning and future foresight in the Wilayat of Sur, located in the Governorate of South Al Sharqiyah.
This two-day event features a diverse lineup of speakers from Oman and other regions.
The conference aims to explore strategic planning as a pathway to sustainable development, improve transparency, tackle risk governance, and effectively manage change.
The agenda includes panel discussions on the integration of public and private sectors, presentations showcasing successful governance models, and insights into the impact of artificial intelligence on decision-making and data analysis.
The opening ceremony was conducted under the patronage of Sheikh Dr. Hilal Ali Al Habsi, the Wali of Sur.
