Salalah: The Directorate General of Social Development in Dhofar Governorate held a community event called Our Safe Home on Thursday.
The launch event took place at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah as part of ongoing endeavors to help the family's function as a composite unit of society.
The goal of this initiative is to highlight the significance of creating a psychologically and socially supportive home environment that protects children, strengthens family bonds, and prevents negative behavior and associated risks.
The event featured two presentations. The first, titled "The Red Signal," was intended to warn against negative behavior and dangers to the family and society. The second, "Digital Upbringing in a FastGrowing World," focused on methods to harness the benefits of modern technology in raising children and fostering innovation.
