Muscat: In his office at Bait Al Falaj Camp today, Maj. Gen Hamid Ahmed Sakroon, who serves as the Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies, welcomed a delegation from King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz College for Command and Staff, part of the National Guard of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the discussions, both parties explored a variety of topics that are mutually significant, especially in the realm of academics.
This meeting included several high-ranking officers from the Academy of Strategic and Defence Studies.
Simultaneously, the visiting delegation also made a stop at the Joint Command and Staff College (CSC) located within the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies.
As the delegation arrived at the college, Brigadier Saif Hamad Al Yousefi, who is the Commandant of the CSC, extended a warm welcome to them.
While at the college, the delegation observed a presentation that highlighted the institution's curriculum along with its training and educational programs. In addition, they took a tour of the various facilities and departments of the college.
Moreover, today the delegation also visited the National Defence College (NDC) at the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies situated in Bait Al Falaj Camp.
Upon their entry into the NDC, they received a warm reception from Brigadier Mansoor Ali Al Amri, the Acting Commandant of the NDC.
The visiting members were provided with an overview of the strategic curricula offered at the college. They also explored the various departments and facilities within the NDC.
