Muscat: The "Bidiyah Car Challenge Carnival" festivities commenced today within the Wilayat of Bidiyah, located in the North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, as part of the winter desert sports events. This celebration coincides with the Sultanate of Oman's 54th glorious National Day, which is being observed over a span of three days at the "Tel Bidiyah" field and Bidiyah Public Park.
The endurance car sports activities in the Wilayat of Bidiyah are experiencing a significant increase in participation and attendance from various age groups. This is attributed to the events being held during the winter tourist season, which includes a series of car competition events that are scheduled to continue until March 2025.
