Muscat, Oman has advanced to the final of the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup in Kuwait, where they will face Bahrain on Saturday, January 4.
In the semi-finals, Oman triumphed over Saudi Arabia with a score of 2-1, despite being reduced to ten players. Meanwhile, Bahrain secured their place in the final by defeating the host nation, Kuwait, 1-0, also playing with ten men after Mahdi Abduljabbar received a red card in the 52nd minute.
Bahrain's Mohamed Marhoon scored the decisive goal in the 75th minute, and the team successfully defended against Kuwait's attempts to equalize, even with an additional ten minutes of injury time added.
