Almost 500 Dead After Israeli Strikes, Lebanon's Health Ministry Says

The Ministry of Health in Lebanon has reported that the death toll resulting from the Israeli airstrikes has increased to 492, with a total of 1,645 individuals sustaining injuries.

The Ministry further disclosed that among the fatalities are 35 children and 58 women.

This incident marks the most severe Israeli bombardment of Lebanon since the 2006 conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

It has been reported that the individual targeted in the Beirut strike by Israel remains unharmed and has been relocated to a secure location, as confirmed by the militant group.

Ali Karaki, a senior leader of Hezbollah and the head of its southern front, is believed to have survived the attack on Beirut. It is understood that Karaki has been relocated to a safe zone following the recent deaths of several high-ranking commanders by Israeli airstrikes.

The Ministry of Health's statement regarding Karaki's condition has been corroborated by various news outlets, though the accuracy of this information has not been independently confirmed.
