Algiers: President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria welcomed Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, in Algiers today. The meeting occurred on the sidelines of the 56th Algiers International Fair's opening, where the Sultanate of Oman is the guest of honour.
During the meeting, the minister delivered His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik's respects to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, as well as his heartfelt wishes for ongoing growth and prosperity to President Tebboune and the Algerian people.
For his part, President Tebboune urged the minister to convey his greetings and gratitude to His Majesty the Sultan for Oman's participation, as well as his wishes of progress and prosperity to Oman and its people.
The meeting examined the bilateral relations between the two nations in a variety of economic, commercial, and investment areas.
The meeting was attended by Saif bin Nasser Al Badai, Oman Ambassador to the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria; Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rowas, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Eng. Dawood bin Salim AlHadabi, CEO of Madayn; Sheikh Saad bin Suhail Bahwan, Chairman of OTE Group; and the Algeria-Oman Fertilizer Company.
