Ibri: On Thursday, more than OMR1 million in contracts were signed in the Al Dhahirah Governorate to fund service and development initiatives.
The agreements were signed by Najeeb Ali Al Rowas, Governor of Al Dhahirah, and representatives from private sector firm. The move was intended to improve infrastructure and service quality in the governorate's wilayats.
The agreements included the implementation of three initiatives. The first project is a road maintenance project in the Wilayat of Ibri. The second is an internal road repair project in the Wilayats of Dhank and Yanqul. Both projects involve rethinking and redesigning roads and speed bumps, erecting road signs, and replacing asphalt layers.
The third is a lighting project for the KabaraWadiAl Ain Road in Ibri Wilayat. It involves the supply and installation of 178 lighting poles to improve the safety and security of road users at night.
